Aqua River Cruise

The 40 meters long, M/V Aqua was the first true luxury cruise ship on the northern Amazon River in Peru. It was custom built for Aqua Expeditions by Peruvian architect Jordi Puig in 2007 to offer an extraordinary level of comfort for guests. The M/V Aqua can accommodate a maximum of 24 cruise ship guests plus crew. This luxury cruise ship is the perfect size to sail along the Amazon River, providing extremely comfortable lounge, dining and sleeping accommodations and boasts modern navigation equipment and standards for cruise ship travel and safety on the water. The M/V Aqua’s twelve oversized cruise ship suites, including 4 Master suites, feature en suite sitting areas and generous outward-facing picture-windows with panoramic Amazon river views. Each of the handsomely decorated, air-conditioned cruise ship suites measures between 20 and 22 square meters. Four of these suites can be interconnected, to cater for families. Aqua river cruise offers 4-day, 5-day and 8-day programs which start from the port of Iquitos, including various excursions to observe wildlife in Peru’s largest National Reserve Pacaya Samiria and to visit native Amazon villages.

Aria River Cruise

The 45 meters long, new M/V Aria is the second luxury cruise ship on the northern Amazon River in Peru. It has been entirely custom built for Aqua Expeditions by Peruvian architect Jordi Puig and offers an extraordinary level of comfort. It was launched in April 2011. The M/V Aria can accommodate a maximum of 32 cruise ship guests plus crew. This luxury cruise ship is the perfect size to sail along the Amazon River, offering an extremely comfortable lounge, an outdor jacuzzi, exercise room, dining and sleeping accommodations. It employs modern navigation equipment and standards for cruise ship travel and safety on the water. The M/V Aria’s sixteen oversized designer suites, feature en suite sitting areas and generous outward-facing picture-windows with panoramic Amazon river views. Each of the handsomely decorated, air-conditioned cruise ship suites measure around 22 square meters. Four of these suites can be interconnected, to cater to families. Delfin I Cruise

The completely refurbished riverboat El Delfin is a new alternative to explore Peru's largest national reserve in the Amazon without sacrificing comfort. It offers cabins including private bathrooms, an observation lounge, extensive Amazon library and air-conditioned dining room. Trips (4, 5 and 8 day tours) start in Iquitos and lead you through the Amazon to the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve. Each of the 7 simply furnished suite cabins (1 double, 4 twins and 2 containing bunk beds) offers a firm, comfortable mattress and pure high quality cotton sheets. Private bathrooms with wooden paneling have showers, water heaters and air extraction systems. Furthermore, the cabins are air-conditioned and equipped with individual remote control and 110/220 V outlets. From the dining room, a window allows you to see the stainless steel kitchen where the chef prepares innovative dishes including fresh produce from the Amazon. The observation deck and the lounge area feature a video / DVD player as well as a plasma screen and guests can enjoy a drink at the fully stocked bar.
